They use their deep-rooted Southern Italian heritage and their own creativity and put their soul and character into each plate. The restaurant is a delight. Expect rustic wooden tables, laid out for sharing, plus an open kitchen delivering a wealth of delicious aromas throughout the space. The menu deserves a deep dive all of its own, but as a starting point, they heartily recommend the lamb meatballs for starters. When it comes to mains, naturally, pasta is the order of the day. And this isn’t just any old pasta, this is fresh Pugliese pasta carefully made by the Ligorio family in San Vito, Puglia. They’re all beautiful in their own right, but our top recommendation has to go to the Sugo Scoglio, particularly for lovers of fresh seafood. This majestic plate consists of cavatelli pasta shells, tumbled up with king prawns, baby squid and mussels, wonderfully-sweet datterini tomatoes, plus just the right amount of chilli and ginger to give a fiery – and delicious – kick.
